Grand Master Y. S. Rho has over 42 years of experience in Tae kwon Do and the Martial arts. He holds an 9th degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, an 8th degree Black belt in Hapkido as well as a 5th degree Black Belt in Kumdo.

Grand Master Y. S. Rho has trained special forces in South America and was a former member of the Bodyguard Division that guards the past and current Presidents of Korea. In addition, Grand Master Y. S. Rho has been certified and licensed by the World Tae Kwon Do Federation and the U. S. Olympic Committee and has been recognized by both bodies for his outstanding mastery of the martial arts.

In 1999, Grand Master Y. S. Rho was invited along with ninety-nine other Masters from the United States to participate in a Masters demonstration for the President of Korea.
