There are many reasons why martial artists wear uniforms. It is a tradition ofthe martial arts that goes back many years. More importantly, the uniform is worn topromote asense of camraderie between students. When a uniform is put on by eachindividual, everyone wearing the uniform becomes equal. Big kids and little kidsare treated with the same respect, just as doctors and lawyers are treated the sameas college students and laborers. The uniform is truly a part of the martial arts spirit because through it we are all on the same team. We can help each other in our quest to be the best we can be. Along with the uniform we recommend: Head gear, cup, forearm pads, shin-instep pads and mouthpiece for sparring class. These items must be purchased through the school to ensure proper fit and quality.
